Episode 18: Boren Family Murder/Suicide
Officer Josh Boren faced several traumas as a child, which trickled into his adult life. His marriage to Kelly was rocky because she discovered he was raping and drugging her. Friends and family were concerned and saw the signs but did not speak out to avoid meddling in the family's affairs. Unfortunately, Josh shot his family and then himself.
This episode highlights the signs of domestic violence and the frequency of the problem that occurs within homes of police officers.
